Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held meeting with top 40 sportspersons from various sports via Video Conferencing. On Friday after his Video Message at 9AM PM held Video Conferencing with sportspersons including Saurav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, PV Sindhu, Deepa Kumari, Sachin Tendulkar and others. Emphasizing on current situation Prime Minister briefed about Government guidelines and asked sports personalities to play their role in spreading awareness among their followers and countrymen.
PM Modi during interaction with sportspersons gave five points mantra of 'Sankalp, Sanyam, Sakaratmakta, Samman and Sahyog' to tackle Covid19. PM also said that sportspersons have brought glory to the nation and now have important role in boosting morale of nation and positivity. He also thanked the efforts are being made by sportspersons by donating voluntarily fund in fight against Covid19 pandemic in India.
Prime Minister on Friday conducted meeting via Video Conferencing with more than 40 sportspersons across different sports. PM shared his views and Government's efforts with sports personalities to fight Coronavirus.

As per source reported PM held a meeting with top 40 sportspersons of Country. Through Video Conferencing the meeting was organized by PMO and the partaking personalities were Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, PV Sindhu, Deepa Kumari, Sharad Kumar, Ajay Thakur and others. To do their part Prime Minister seems urged the sports personalities to do their efforts in the current situation caused by Coronavirus. Sportspersons were also thanked by Prime Minister for their voluntary donation towards PM CARE fund initiated on March 28, by PM. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister addressed the nation at 9AM via Video message and urged citizens of India to light candles, diyas, mobile flashlights on 5th April by lighting off the electric bulbs.
Several sports personalities including Saurav Ganguly through BCCI, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina and Gautam Gambhir have donated in PM fund.
