About 65 to 70 lakh migrant laborers are to be brought home by the labor special, be it by freight trains to meet the needs of the country, modernize the Indian Railways, or infrastructure. All this work was done by our employees all over the country. We were committed to bring the country's economy back on track. Whether it is the work of bringing the migrant laborers home through crisis through the labor special train or to fulfill the needs of the country through the goods train, he added.

The staff and officers of Indian Railways carried out their responsibilities with boldness and responsibility, among other challenges including COVID. The goal of all of us was to keep the economy of the country running and nobody should suffer.

There were many challenges before the country and the railways during the COVID period. I am happy that during this period, Indian Railways continued to serve the country. Indian Railways continued from passenger special trains to freight trains even during lockdown. Be it fertilizer for farmers, coal for power houses, raw materials for industries, or to transport products, Indian Railways continued all this work even in the midst of Lockdown.

On behalf of every member of the railway family, I tell the whole country that we will all take the country forward and will not back down in this resolution. Also my best wishes to all of you for the year 2021, Goyal said.
