Prime Minister said that Babasaheb's thoughts and ideals continue to give strength to millions and we are committed to fulfilling the dreams he had for our nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paying tributes to the Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on his Mahaparinirvan Diwas writes- Remembering the great Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas. His thoughts and ideals continue to give strength to millions. We are committed to fulfilling the dreams he had for our nation.

"Following the footsteps of Babasaheb, Modi government is working with dedication for the welfare of the section that remained deprived for decades", tweeted Home Minister Amit Shah while paying tribute to the Babasaheb Ambedkar

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray & state minister Ajit Pawar also pay tributes to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar at Chaityabhoomi in Mumbai on Mahaparinirvan Diwas. They also released a booklet on the life of Ambedkar.

Mahaparinirvan Diwas is being celebrated in the memories of late Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. The day is observed on the 6th of December every year to mark the death anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar the chief architect of the Constitution of India. Ambedkar is known as eminent in Indian jurist, economist, social reformer, who inspired the Dalit Buddhist movement.
