Lockdown 4 Day 1- Breaking records 5242 new Covid cases reported, highest in 24 Hours

According to the latest report of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Lockdown, 4 Day 1 Coronavirus Update: Highest ever spike of 5242 COVID19 cases in the last 24 hrs, 157 death reported in last 24 hrs. The total number of positive cases in India is now at 96169, including 56316 active cases, 36824 cured/discharged/migrated cases, death toll 3029 deaths: Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.  

In Tamil Nadu, 639 cases reported in the last 24 hours, in 25 districts. and In Maharashtra on Sunday reported 2,347 coronavirus cases. The total of COVID-19 cases in the worst-hit state has crossed the 33,000-mark. 63 deaths were also reported in a single day. On the other hand, Mumbai is the worst infected city in the country, the total number of the case reached o 20,000 marks.

Lockdown 4 Day 1

The central government has extended the nationwide lockdown till May 31 due to Coronavirus. Several states will issue guidelines regarding lockdown 4 today. At the same time, the number of active cases of the coronavirus in the country has crossed 53 thousand, while 2872 people have died. More than five thousand new cases were reported on Sunday for the first time since the Corona crisis began. As per the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines for Coronavirus Lockdown, all religious places/places of worship shall be closed for the public; religious congregations are strictly prohibited. All shops, except those in containment zones and malls, will be allowed to open from Monday with staggered timings during lockdown 4.0: MHA

Red, Orange, Green, Buffer and Containment Zone

In lockdown 4.0, now the state governments will decide which red, orange, and green zones are in the state. Simultaneously the buffer zone and containment zone will also be decided. State governments will take these decisions in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Health.

Delhi Govt guidelines on Lockdown 4

10,054 cases have been reported in Delhi till date. 4,485 persons have been cured/discharged and 160 people have died due to COVID19 till now: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

Barbershops, spas and saloons to remain closed for now. Stepping out of homes between 7 pm to 7 am, except for essential services will be prohibited. Taxis & cabs will be allowed but only 2 passengers at a time in a car: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal
