PM Narendra Modi & Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal attend inauguration programme of India’s first driverless train on Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line & the launch of fully operational National Common Mobility Card on the Airport Express Line, via video conferencing.

Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate India’s first Driverless Train on Delhi Metro’s Magenta Line on Monday. Prime Minister will also launch the fully operational National Common Mobility Card on the Airport Express Line at 11 AM, an official familiar with the development said. Driverless services on the 37 km long Magenta line (Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden) is another major corridor of Delhi Metro. The Driverless trains will be full automated which will require minimum human intervention and will eliminate the possibilities of human errors.

Delhi Metro has been a prioneer in introducing technology driven solutions for passengers comfort and an another step in same direction, DMRC said in its statement.
