Breaking: Internet suspended at Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur border for two days

Order to shut Internet services at Delhi Border

The Internet services have been suspended for two days at Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur borders with adjoining areas until 23:00 hrs on January 31, 2021. Releasing an official order, Home Ministry directs to shut the internet at the Delhi borders in view of public safety.

"The temporary suspension of telecom Services (Public Emergency or public safety) rules 2017, and in the interest of maintaining public safety and averting public emergency, it is necessary and expedient to order, the temporary suspension of internet services in the areas of Singhu, Gazhipur, and Tikri, and adjoining areas in the NCT of Delhi from 23:00 hours on January 29, 2021 to 23:00 hrs on January 31, 2021, an official order reads.
