Indian Navy performing solidarity with the Corona Warriors on May 3, using Indian Navy Ships formrd human chains and fired the flares. Indian Navy Ships from Arabian Sea to Indian Ocean, from Bay of Bengal to deep seas across shores used special lightening, formed human chains & fired flares in the water to mark the gratitude to the people who are standing in front during this war including healthcare workers, police personnel, sanitation workers. INS Sahyadri and INS Kamorta of the Indian Navy illuminated near Marina Beach in Tamil Nadu's Chennai to express gratitude towards medical professionals and all frontline workers.
Indian Navy Ship deployed in the Arabian Sea showed their appreciation by saying ' India salutes Corona warriors.' Navy helicopters showered the petals on hospitals involved in a battle against the contagious disease, to strengthen doctors' spirits. Western Naval Command will light five naval ships from 7:30 PM to 11:59 PM off Gateway of India in Mumbai displaying banners like India Salutes Corona Warriors and the siren of the ships also fire flared at 7:30.
The constant small gestures will boost the confidence and faith of frontline workers. This is the third edition of showing gratitude towards covid warriors after the government requested the citizens to clap and light diyas to appreciate them. Navy helicopters also dropped petals on the Goa Medical College in Panaji to thank the frontline workers. Earlier in the day Air Force's 4 transport aircraft, over 10 fighter aircraft & 15-20 helicopters participated in the aerial salute to #COVID19 warriors. Most of state capitals&over 72 hospitals were covered in the event, said Air Vice Marshal Surat Singh, Assistant Chief of Air Staff Operations (Space).

The Indian Air Force's (IAF) on other hand using fighter jets, Helicopters from the Western Air Command showered petals at hospitals across Delhi from 10:30 am. Over several Covid19 Hospitals including Safdarjang Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Personnel onboard the Aircraft Carrier INS Vikramaditya form a human chain as a gesture to express gratitude and appreciation.

Indian Navy Ship deployed in Bay of Bengal also expressed their gratitude towards frontline workers putting their lives on the line in the fight against Covid-19. General Secretary of the Resident Doctors Association (RDA), AIIMS-Delhi, Dr Srinivas Rajkumar T also thanked the navy and said.
We wholeheartedly appreciate the gesture by Army, Navy and air force for services rendered by health care workers but the government should also pay attention to shortcomings in preparedness which will decide the final outcome of the battle against Covid-19, said official from Indian Navy.
