Defence sources on Monday claim a clash between soldiers of Indian Army and Chinese PLA at Naku La, Sikkim border. According to the sources, on Friday a clash was reportedly took place between the soldiers which resulted in injuries on both sides. However, officials of neither Indian Army nor PLA have spoken-out on the incidence. Indian Defence expert familiar with the developments taking to the microblogging site Twitter claims that the clash took place three days back at Naku La, Sikkim border.
"Indian & Chinese soldiers clashed at Naku La, Sikkim border three days ago. Chinese troop patrol attempted to intrude across, brawl ensued. Several Chinese soldiers injured, some injuries on Indian side. Situation tense but calm now", Defence Source told India Today.
According to the sources, Naku La was one of the original face-off sites along with Pangong Tso, Galwan, Gogra, and Hot Springs in early-May last year.
