India COVID-19 Report Jan 25: According to the Union Health Ministry, India reported 2,55,874 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours, down from 50,190 the day before, bringing the daily positivity rate down to 15.52 percent. With this, the active caseload has increased to 22,36,842, with a weekly positivity rate of 17.17%. In the last 24 hours, there have been 2,67,753 recoveries reported. With a Covid recovery rate of 93.15 percent, the total number of people who have recovered from the virus in the United States is 3,70,71,898.

In the last 24 hours, the Ministry reported 614 COVID deaths. In the last 24 hours, 16,49,108 tests were performed, which is 1,74,355 more than on Monday. Meanwhile, 162.92 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far in the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
