Here's What Harnaaz Sandhu Said After Becoming Miss Universe 2021
Harnaaz responded in her final statement, saying, "Well, I believe that the most significant pressure on today's youth is to believe in themselves. To understand that you are unique and that this is what makes you beautiful. Stop comparing yourself to others and start talking about more important things that are going on in the world. This, I believe, is what you need to understand. Come out and speak up for yourself, because you are the mastermind of your own life. You are your own unique voice. I believed in myself, which is why I am here today. Thank you very much."
India had previously won the coveted title twice, with Sushmita Sen winning in 1994 and Lara Dutta winning in 2000. Harnaaz has now joined the ranks of these extraordinary women. The 21-year-old model from Chandigarh has previously won several pageant titles, including LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2021 and Femina Miss India Punjab 2019. She has also appeared in films.
