Delhi Police on Thursday addressed the media over the ongoing investigation in the 26th January violence. Special Commission of Delhi Police Praveer Ranjan, Special Commissioner of Police (CP) in his statement said that Delhi Police has identified over 300 social-media handles and Cyber-police has also started an investigation against the social-media handlers under various sections.
Answering a question over a toolkit that gone viral in the public domain Delhi Police said, "We have also taken up the matter of viral toolkit which revealed a pre-planned action by pro-Khalistani elements. Delhi Police has registered a case against the authors of the toolkit & the matter has been sent to the cyber cell.
"We have also registered a separate case against those elements who misused their social-media accounts and tried to spread disharmony among the people of various religious beliefs", said Special Commissioner, Delhi Police.
"The toolkit had a particular section that says it was pre-planned. A pre-planned Digital strike was called by the western handlers of the toolkit. The same toolkit has been shown by various media channels. The toolkit is now in the public domain and I hope you are aware of that", said Special Commissioner of Delhi Police.

The incident has revealed a copycat action plan which was aimed to create ill-will against the Government of India and among the people of various religious beliefs. But, the Delhi Police delineated their plan, he adds.
On being asked on filing a case against Greta Thunberg, a Climate and Environmental activist who tweeted a toolkit (later deleted), Special Commissioner of Delhi Police said, "We haven't named anybody in the FIR, it's only against the creators of a toolkit which is a matter of investigation & Delhi Police will be investigating that case.

Sections in FIR are 124 A IPC-spreading disaffection against Govt of India, it's regarding sedition, 153 A-promoting hatred amongst various communities on social/cultural/religious grounds, same is 153 & 120 B for criminal conspiracy to give shape to such a plan.
