Canadian PM Justin Trudeau backs the farmers' protests Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau raises the issue of protesting farmers in Delhi. Canadian PM says the situation is concerning and Canada has reached out to Indian Government through different means to raise the issue.

"I would be remiss if I didn't start by recognizing the news coming from India about the protest by farmers. The situation is concerning. We are all very worried about family and friends. We know that's a realty for many of you. Let me remind you, Canada will always be there to defend the rights of peacefull protesters", Justin Trudeau says.

We believe in the process of dialogue. We've reached out through multiple means to the Indian Authorities to highlight our concerns. This is a moment for all of us to pull together, adds Trudeau in his video message.

After Canadian PM offeres the support to protesting farmers, BJP spokesperson raises the objection and calls for not interefering in the internal matters of the country.
