According to the Delhi Police it has released a list of 120 people who have been arrested in connection with the Farmers' protest that turned violent on January 26. The Delhi Police have filed 44 FIRs & arrested 122 people in connection with farmers' protest.
"We've provided the information on our website, anyone can see it. Police have not detained anyone illegally. I appealed to people not to pay heed to rumors", said Delhi Police PRO Eish Singhal.
The Delhi Police has uploaded a list on February 1, 2021, of arrested persons on its website www.delhipolice.nic.in. According to the list, the people who have been arrested were connected with the ongoing Kisan Andolan.
According to the list provided at the Delhi Police website, as many as 62 people from Punjab, 29 from Haryana, 1 from Uttar Pradesh, and 16 people from Delhi have been named in the list and arrested on behalf of different FIRs launched in different Police stations in Delhi.
A total of 120 persons have been arrested in different FIRs being launched by the Delhi Police after the violence broke out in the National capital on January 26, 2021.
As many as 9 people have been arrested on behalf of FIRs launched in Mukherjee Nagar (FIR No. 31/21), 7 People arrested on behalf of FIRs launched in Nangloi (45/2021), 5 People under the FIR No. 44/2021 in Nangloi, 20 people under the FIR No. 46/2021 in Nangloi, 6 people arrested under FIR number 47/2021 in Nangloi, followed by 6 under FIR no- 48/21 in Uttam Nagar. Seven people have been arrested after FIR Nos- 44/21 launched in Najafgarh, 15 people arrested after FIRs launched in Paschim Vihar West (FIR No- 22/2021), 3 each in FIRs launched in Baba Haridas Nagar and Seemapuri.
A maximum of 33 persons have been arrested after FIRs launched in Ali Pur Outer North. A total of three people have been arrested after FIRs 66/2021 launched in Mundka Outer Distt, 2 arrests have been made under FIRs registered at Mundka Outer Distt against FIR no- 63/2021, and 1 arrest after an FIR launched at Ali Pur Outer North. According to the Delhi Police, a person named Kulwinder Singh, Age 30 has confessed himself to a Khalistani supporter. His personal details are also enlisted by the Police.
