In the last 24 hours, 3,998 deaths have been reported. This jump in the death toll is due to the addition of the backlog of deaths (the last revised figure) in Maharashtra.
These figures were released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday. The Ministry of Health says that the number of active cases in India has come down to 4,07,170. While the proportion of total infected patients is 1.30 percent.

So far, a total of 3,03,90,687 people across the country have recovered after defeating the coronavirus epidemic. On the other hand, if we talk about the ongoing vaccination campaign against the epidemic, so far 41.54 crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been given to the people.
The recovery rate from the coronavirus pandemic is currently 97.36 percent. At the same time, 36,977 patients have been cured during the last 24 hours.
