COVID-19 India: Nation Registers Lowest Surge Of Fresh Infections In Last 4 Months

Coronavirus second wave has now died down in the country, thanks to rapid vaccination drive and strict lockdown restrictions that were imposed by the center. Active COVID-19 cases now stand at 406,130 & are now dipping further.

India recorded its lowest daily coronavirus infections in over four months on Tuesday as it registered 30,093 new COVID-19 cases, the Union ministry of health and family welfare data revealed. The last time India's Covid-19 tally was below 30,000-mark was on March 16 (28,903).

India has reported 374 coronavirus-related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative death toll to 414,482. It is for the first time since March 30 that India has registered less than 400 deaths in a single day. 

Dynamic instances of Covid-19 as of now plunged strongly by 15,535, getting the current infections in the nation down to 406,130, the wellbeing service information showed. These record for 1.35% of the absolute diseases revealed in the country. No less than 45,254 individuals recuperated from the irresistible sickness as of now, taking India's recuperation rate to 97.32%.
