COVID-19 India: Nation Registers Less Than 50 Thousand Fresh Cases, Potential 3rd Wave Threat Still Looms

Less than 1000 COVID-19 deaths have been reported so far in the last 24 hours. The Centre has also warned of a potential coronavirus 3rd wave.

COVID-19 India: Nation reported 46,148 new COVID-19 cases, 58,578 recoveries, and 979 deaths in the last 24 hours as per the Union Health Ministry. 

The total coronavirus caseload has mounted to 3,02,79,331 taking the total death tally to 3,96,730. 2,93,09,607 recuperations have been recorded so far since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The daily recovery rate in India has been recorded as 96.80% (highest since the beginning of the second wave). Total COVID-19 infections have reached 5,72,994.

The Health Ministry of India has advised all Indian citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible. The Centre has also warned of a potential 3rd wave.
