COVID-19 India: Nation Registers Less Than 30,000 Cases For The First Time In Last 30 Days

COVID-19 India: Nation reported 29,689 new Coronavirus infections and 416 fatalities in the last 24 hours as per the Union Health Ministry's latest reports. The country today has reported less than 30,000 daily cases after 4.5 months. As per the Ministry of Health, the active COVID-19 caseload of India currently stands at 3,98,100, and the daily COVID positivity rate is 1.73 percent.

42,363 people have recuperated in the last 24 hours. Adding the latest figures, the cumulative recoveries now stand at 3,06,21,469 with a 97.39 percent recovery rate. Total deaths recorded in India have now reached 4,21,382 (one of the highest in the world). 

The health department has also informed that 44.19 crore Covid-19 vaccination doses have been administered under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive so far, and 45.91 crore Covid-19 tests have also been conducted to date.
