India reported 44,230 new COVID-19 cases as of now, taking the day by day positivity rate at 2.44 percent, said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday. With these new cases, the active case count has moved to 4,05,155 and establishes 1.28 percent of absolute cases. 

The country's cumulative COVID-19 tally has reached 3,15,72,344. With 42,360 recuperations as of now, the overall recuperations in the country have reached 3,07,43,972. The recovery rate presently remains at 97.38 percent. A sum of 4,23,217 passings have been accounted which includes 555 deaths of last 24 hours.

Indian health department additionally reported that weekly coronavirus positivity rate stayed under 5% and today remained at 2.43 per cent.The testing limit has generously increased as the nation has led 46.46 crore tests up until this point. Health department stated that 45,60,33,754 COVID-19 vaccine dosages have been rolled out up until now.
