Chinese choppers spotted near Ladakh LAC, IAF scrambled Su-30MKIs

On Tuesday it is reported that China keeping the path of belligerence with India, sent its Choppers along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh. In response to the threat along LAC, Indian Air Force scrambled it’s Fighter jets, revealed in a report published by News Agency ANI. Chinese military choppers, too, were spotted near Ladakh, prompting the Indian Air Force (IAF) to deploy its fighter jets along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), news agency ANI reported on Tuesday. However the incidence is of last week when scuffle between Indian Army Personnel and Chinese People Liberation Army occurred.

Chinese Choppers spotted near Ladakh

It was the third incidence of the week, when Chinese PLA engaged with Indian Armed Forces, in last week it was reported that Chinese PLA engaged in two scuffles with Indian Army personnel at Sikkim Border. In that shuffle both sides soldiers received minor injuries. The Chinese military helicopters were flying very close to the LAC. After we picked up their movement, the IAF fighter jets scrambled in the area, ANI quoted government sources as saying.

Indian Air Force scrambled Su-30MKIs

In report it is said that the Chinese choppers did not cross the LAC near Ladakh into the Indian territory in that area. Indian Air Force frequently flies it’s Su-30 MKI fighter aircraft fleet from Leh Air Base along with other planes, ANI said.  

The latest developments came when Pakistan Air Force increased its patrols of F-16s and JF-17 Chinese collaborated Fighter jets along with Eastern Border with India in view of Handwara Terrorist attack that led to the martyrdom of 5 Indian Troops including Major and Colonel rank Officers.

On May 9, clashes had broken out involving a total of nearly 200 personnel from the Indian Army and the People's Liberation Army (PLA) at the Naku La sector in North Sikkim. The issue was later resolved after local interaction between the two sides, though both sides faced minor injuries in scuffle.
