Boxer Vijender Singh on Sunday joins the farmers' protest at Singhu border, Haryana-Delhi border. The farmers' are holding protest for the 11th consecutive day at Singhu border, against Central Government's Farm laws.
"If the government doesn't withdraw the black laws, I'll return my Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award", said Vijender Singh. The Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award is the highest sporting honour of the country.
Speaking over the participation of other atheletes, Vijender Singh boxer & Congress leader said that- other athletes from Haryana wanted to come but they have govt jobs & would've been in trouble. They say they're with farmers:

Meanwhile, farmer union leaders after meeting union government for the 5th time on Saturday, pitched for repeal of farm laws and called for Bharat Bandh, on December 8.
