Farm Laws: Bhupinder Singh Mann, a member of the SC-formed committee over Farm Laws, recuses himself from the committee. Mann who was chosen in four-member committee to negotiate on farm laws, by the Supreme Court has opt-out from it.
In view of prevailing sentiments & apprehensions amongst farm unions & public, I'm ready to sacrifice any position so as not to compromise Punjab & farmers' interests," his letter reads. Bhupinder Singh Mann refuses to be part of SC's four-member committee.
"While i am thankful to Hon'ble Supreme Cour of India for nominating me in the 4 member committee to start dialogue with Kisan Unions on the three laws brought in the Central Government.
As a farmer myself and a Union leader, in view of the prevailing sentiments and apprehensions amongst the farm unions and the public in general, I am ready to scrifice any position offered or given to me so as to not compromise the interests of Punjab and farmers of the country, I am rescuing myself from the Commitee and I will always stand with my farmers and Punjab", a letter from Mann to Supreme Court reads.

Earlier, Mann who is National President of BKU and Chairman of All India Kisan Coordination Committee was been accused by Congress party for supporing farm laws, later named in the four-member Committee by the Supreme Court.
