Amit Shah hits at CM Mamata Banerjee during West Bengal Jan Samvad Rally

After Bihar and Odisha, Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a virtual rally titled West Bengal Jan Samvad Rally for the people of West Bengal. This virtual rally of the former President of BJP streamed all across digital platforms and social media. Today, while addressing the people of West Bengal, Shah targetted West Bengal's Chief Minister and supremo of Trinamool Congress.

"Do the poor people of Bengal have no right to receive free and quality treatment? Why then, would you not allow the Ayushman Bharat scheme here? Mamata Ji, stop doing politics on the rights of poor people. You can do politics on a lot of other issues, but not on poors' health," said Shah while addressing the virtual rally.

In appreciation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP government in the center, Shah opined that 6 years of Modi government has taken India forward in every way. It has been used to solve problems in the entire country.

"In six years, we've moved forward in creating New India. After Shashtri Ji, I've witnessed a PM for the first time with such effect that saw 130 crore Indians stay indoors while exercising self-discipline on his behest', quoted Shah.

According to Shah, PM Modi has prepared the nation in such a way that today, against the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, the govt is fighting and is ably supported by 130 crore Indians. Shah also claimed that 3.84 lakh MT foodgrains have been provided to Bengal worth nearly 8,000 crores via PDS. This is over and above the support, the BJP government provided to the state government.

"UP has received 1700 trains, Bihar 1500. I was astonished when Mamata didi named trains that were coming to Bengal 'Corona Express. We had named it 'Shramik Special' train. The name 'Corona Express' that you have given, Mamata didi, will become your exit route. You've added salt to the wounds of the migrant workers and they will not forget this," Shah.

Shah also questioned Banerjee and her party - can political violence become a regular in Bengal? What will she and her party do when BJP is now talking to the people of Bengal virtually?

Addressing the virtual rally, Shah requested to CM Banerjee to send the list of farmers and he assured that the BJP government will send them Rs 6,000 each. Banerjee had earlier requested the BJ P government to transfer money to farmers and migrants.

"Why are you stopping your farmers from receiving help from the government? If we need development to come to Bengal, we need to bring the BJP in power", Shah.
