Ajit Doval given the Charge to control Delhi Violence, NSA analysed security preparedness

NSA Ajit Doval has been given the charge of bringing Delhi violence under control. He's going to brief PM & Cabinet about the situation in North East Delhi. NSA Ajit Doval after visiting affected regions and taking cognizance from Delhi Police and Central agencies going to incharge to control violence. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval last night visited Jafrabad, Seelampur & other parts of North East Delhi. Doval held talks with leaders of different communities. As per reports National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval is going to attend the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting. He has been given charge to bring normalancy in North East Delhi.

As per latest updates, Five IPS officers have been transferred due to Delhi Violence. With immidiate effect 5 IPS have been transferred, notice issued by Hon'ble Leautinent Governor Anil Baijal on Wednesday.

NSA Ajit Doval given Charge

The NSA has made it clear that lawlessness would not be allowed to remain in the national capital&adequate number of police forces and paramilitary forces have been deployed. The police have been given a free hand to bring the situation under control. Earlier in Delhi Violence Sunil Kumar Gautam MD, Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital confirmed that Death toll has increased to 18. On February 25, four persons were brought dead. Death toll rises to 17 in clashes in North East Delhi.

In Delhi Violence several Police personnel have been injured and a Delhi Police Head Constable Rattan Lal also lost his life in violence in North East Delhi protest at his native place Sadeensar. His parents and family demanding martyrdom status for the Head Constable who sacrificed his life in violence.

Earlier since 24th February several vehicles & shops have been vandalised & set on fire during protest. In several parts of NE Delhi including Khambhat town, Anand district vehicles and property vendalised. IG AK Jadeja on Wedensday confirmed that some outfits were staging a sit-in against Sunday's violence (in Khambhat). When demonstrators started to disperse, miscreants set properties on fire on Tuesday.
