Aero India 2021: USAF B-1B Lancer takes part in the airshow at Bengaluru after 26 hours flight

United States Air force B-1B aircraft recently arrived at Bengaluru and took part in Aero India 2021 air exhibition. After entering the Indian airspace, the bomber was escorted by IAF's LCA Tejas aircraft.

As per reports, an American B-1B Lancer aircraft arrived & took part in the Aero India show along with LCA Tejas in Bengaluru. The aircraft flew from an American airbase in South Dakota, United States for over 26 hours to reach the city. Upon entering Indian Airspace, the aircraft was escorted by LCA Tejas aircraft.

The Rockwell B-1 Lancer is a supersonic variable-sweep wing, heavy bomber used by the United States Air Force. It is commonly called the "Bone" (from "B-One"). It is one of three strategic bombers in the U.S. Air Force fleet as of 2020, the other two being the B-2 Spirit and the B-52 Stratofortress.
