On the sidelines of Aero India 2021, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has cleared the procurement of ” RAMPAGE” Long-Range Precise Supersonic Missile from Israel, as reported by official sources.
RAMPAGE is a new long-range air-to-ground precision strike missile that can travel at supersonic speeds, which can be used to target Communication infrastructures, Air force bases, control towers, squadron buildings, Munitions storage, bunkers, Air defense sites, and Logistic centers.

570 Kg RAMPAGE, was first used at targets in Syria by the Israeli air force. The Rampage is expected to be employed in a stand-off scenario at a max range of about 100+km. ELBIT has displayed a scale model of the Rampage Supersonic Missile at the Aero India 2021 and reports are that IAF will be placing orders for unknown units of the missiles soon.
ELBIT representatives have not officially revealed the actual range of the missile but it is expected that it could be over 200+km in reality. ELBIT confirms that it can be integrated into any aircraft currently in service with IAF including Su-30MKI and Mirage-2000-5 or can be used as a stand-alone weapon.
