Aditya Birla Group and Shri Kumar Mangalam Birla donated RS 500 Crore voluntarily in PM CARE fund and relief measures. PM Modi himself thanked Aditya Birla Group for its contribution to fight Coronavirus. On Friday through tweet Aditya Birla Group contributed RS 500 Crores toward Covid19 relief measures as a multi pronged response to counter the Coronavirus pandemic, Group stated. Among total donation RS 400 Crores donated in PM CARE Fund and other 100 crores extended in other relief measures.
Adding a measure amount in PM CARE Fund, Group extended voluntary amount in other relief measures including 50 Cr to FICCI Aditya Birla CSR center for excellence for Covid relief measures and also said to activate a 100 bed facility at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai and another 50 Cr to be donated by contributing N 95 masks, PPEs and volunteers.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at social media thanked Aditya Birla Group and Shri Kumar Mangalam Birla for their voluntarily donation towards PM CARE fund setup at Central Level to fight Coronavirus. PM himself reiterated by saying 'Thank You Aditya Birla Group for contributing to PM CARE fund. No stone is being left unturned to fight Covid19. This contribution will have positive impact on many Indians', PM tweeted.
