COVID-19 cases continue to surge in India, more than 3700 deaths in last 24 hours

Cumulative cases of COVID-19 in India have now mounted to 2,06,65,148, with 34,87,229 active cases, as per the latest information revealed by the health department. The vaccination drive is in a full swing with more than 17 crore inoculations registered so far.

India on Tuesday recorded 3,82,577 new cases of the novel Covid, alongside 3,780 passings because of the infection. As per the information shared by the Union Health Ministry, the nation saw an aggregate of 3,38,439 discharges just now, taking the complete recuperation cost to 1,69,51,731.

India crossed the dreary achievement of 1.50 crore on April 19.
