Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday finally gave verdict over IPL 2020. BCCI suspended IPL 2020 league till 1 April as precautionary measure. Announcing ‘we have decided to suspend IPL 2020 till April 15, as a precautionary measure against the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) situation’ Board announced. BCCI also added that Board is concerned & sensitive about all stakeholders, and public health in general. Taking all necessary steps BCCI on March 13, suspended IPL 2020 schedule laid down as 29 March opening date. New IPL schedule is predicted to be announced after 15 April 2020.
Earlier several assumptions were made regarding postponement of IPL 2020 schedule and shifting of league to a foreign country. On Friday BCCI issued official intimation regarding suspension of IPL schedule.
BCCI on March 13 taking a big decision suspended the Indian Premiere League till April 15. To give fans a safe cricketing experience, BCCI took the decision as precautionary step. Due to spread of COVID19 virus in several countries and restrict mass gathering or crowd to not let anyone unsafe, Board suspended. Earlier several speculations were being made over IPL shuffling or postponement. Suggestions were made by experts over IPL 2020, question mark was set over IPL, would league start from 29 March or not? On Fridya it gets finally reveal with suspension till April 15.

Indian Premier League (IPL)-2020 has been postponed till April 15. New IPL schedule seems to be out after April 2020.
