Thor 4 or Thor: Love and Thunder, starring Chris Hemsworth, has performed well over the week. It is currently approaching the ₹75 crores threshold in India. It is directed by Taika Waititi (who also helmed Thor: Ragnarok) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum under the Marvel Studios brand.
It is doing extremely well at the box office around the world, with a fantastic weekend propelling it into the top ten most grossing films of 2022. While Top Gun: Maverick remains at number one, Thor 4 has dropped to the tenth position following the weekend.
The film saw an expected decline on the first Monday, collecting roughly ₹5.4 crores, bringing the total gross to around ₹70 crores. Thor 4 is projected to perform well over the weekdays, earning between ₹4 and ₹4.5 crores** on Tuesday (Day 6), bringing the total earnings to around ₹74 crores. The superhero flick is predicted to finish in the top five grossing films of the year. The picture did extremely well internationally as well, earning USD 302+ million (about ₹2398 crores) in its first weekend.
