The Lion King box office collection Day 6 - Jon Favreau directional Disney's live-action remake "The Lion King" has been an excellent performance over the weekdays and crosses Rs 75 crore mark within his first week as it earns Rs 6.25 crore on Wednesday. In India, The Lion King stands at a total box office collection is an impressive of Rs 75.92 crore in just 6 days of its release. The Lion King is the second Hollywood film of 2019 to cross the Rs 50-crore mark in its opening weekend in India after Avengers: Endgame. The Lion King revolves around Simba who is next in line to become the king. But after his father Mufasa is murdered, young Simba goes into self-imposed exile. However, the true heir to the throne must accept his destiny and return to his kingdom.

      Directed by Jon Favreau, the film's box office collection on Monday was Rs 6.25 crore, thus the total box office collections of the film reached upto Rs 75.92 crore so far in just 5 days of its release. Also, the film opens in the domestic market with an impressive of Rs 11.06 crore with a gross of Rs 13.17 in all versions in the domestic market.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted "The Lion Kingis a sure shot hit... Crosses Rs 75 cr... Excellent trending on weekdays... Biz will skyrocket on [second] Sat and Sun... Fri 11.06 cr, Sat 19.15 cr, Sun 24.54 cr, Mon 7.90 cr, Tue 7.02 cr, Wed 6.25 cr. Total: Rs 75.92 cr. India biz. All versions.

The Hindi version of the film is dubbed by Shah Rukh Khan has given his voice to Mufasa(Simba's father), while his son Aryan khan makes an entry into the film world by voicing the protagonist character Simba. Sunidhi Chauhan and Armaan Malik have sung for Hindi version.
Hollywood actors Donald Glover, Beyonce, Seth Rogen, Alfre Woodard, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, John Kani, and John Oliver have lent their voice to the original version of the film.

The Lion King hit the screens on July 19, 2019.
