Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra will be part of a larger group of international stars for a WHO event to raise funds for novel coronavirus outbreak. As per report SRK and Priyanka to be part of Lady Gaga's One World: Together at a home live event to raise funds for COVID-19. Priyanka and Shah Rukh Khan will be part of a global effort to raise funds to tackle COVID-199 to be organized by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The event will see other international stars such as Lady Gaga and Elton John join as well.
According to a source, in a bid to raise funds, WHO will live stream an event of performances by stars from around the world such as John Legend, Elton John, Lady Gaga David Beckham, Idris Elba. Bollywood will be represented by Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. The event will be broadcast on April 18. The event will be hosted by popular talk show hosts Stephen Colhert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel.
Both Shah Rukh and Priyanka, meanwhile, have been doing their bit to raise awareness and contribute funds at an individual level in the fight against coronavirus pandemic. In March, Priyanka and her American singer husband Nick Jonas had announced that they had contributed to several charities to lend support to the ongoing battle against the coronavirus pandemic. Priyanka toke to her Twitter to announce that the couple has donated to organizations like the PM-CARES Fund, Unicef, Feeding America, and Goonj among many others.
Shah Rukh too has been doing his bit to contribute to the fight against the pandemic. SRK, along with Gauri and business partners -- Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta -- had announced that they would contribute to the PM-CARES Fund through IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and would also make a donation to the Maharashtra CM’s Relief Fund through his film banner Red Chillies Entertainment.

The event will be broadcast live on Saturday, April 18, at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on ABC, NBC, ViacomCBS Networks, and iHeartMedia, as well as Bell Media networks and platforms in Canada. Internationally, BBC One will run the program on Sunday, April 19, with additional international broadcasters including beIN Media Group, MultiChoice Group, and RTE.
Curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga, the global special will starring appearances and musical performances from Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, and Stevie Wonder.
