Netflix's much-awaited film Extraction's release Today. Chris Hemsworth, who became a Thor in Marvel's Avengers series, is the hero of the film and has come out in the field against him, Randeep Hooda, a famous actor who describes himself as a Jat of Rohtak. Randeep still suffers the pain of Battle of Saragarhi and now his dream is to screen the character of the most popular rebel, Sultana dacoit in India.
In a special conversation with the News portal, Randeep explains, 'It has not been easy to work for Extraction. By the way, I am a Jat of Rohtak. I wrote a read in a sports school. They used to make rails there from five o'clock in the morning. But, the action is another thing for the film. And, I had to prepare a lot to do a film action like Hollywood Extraction. Had to undergo a lot of training. How to punch, how to hook? Everyone was trained. Secondly, their system is fixed every minute to minute. The work which is to be started at that time will start at that time itself.'
Apart from timeliness, what are the other things that Hindi cinema should learn from Hollywood? Randeep says, 'We are also doing a good job and our cinema is no longer behind them in any way. Slowly we too will reach there. Just a little improvement is needed in the system, that too will happen over time.' Randeep is very appreciative of his fellow artist Rudraksha Jaiswal and also believes that whatever he could have had a lot of fun at the time of shooting was with Rudraksha. The rest was always on a set of technicians from all over the world.
