According to recent reports 'Mortal Kombat release date India has been shifted ahead by one week due to a drastic rise in COVID-19 cases across the globe especially India. WB's action thriller 'Mortal Kombat' that was supposed to hit theatres on 16th April, will now be released one week later.

Mortal Kombat release date India has now been confirmed as 23rd April 2021. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared necessary details regarding the postponement of the Mortal Kombat release date India.  

Mortal Kombat is an upcoming American martial arts fantasy action film directed by Simon McQuoid (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Greg Russo and Dave Callaham and a story by Oren Uziel and Russo.

It is based on the video game franchise of the same name created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, serving as a reboot to the Mortal Kombat film series. The film will star Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada.
