Dune, the epic science fiction picture that debuted in theatres and on HBO Max in October, will be available on Amazon Prime Video in India on March 25. The cast of the film includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, and Javier Bardem.

Dune is the first installment of a projected trilogy based on Frank Herbert's Dune novels. It tells the narrative of aristocrat Paul Atreides and his family, who are forced into combat due to "melange" or "spice," the most valuable element in the Dune universe found on the desert planet Arrakis. Amazon Prime Video recently announced the debut of Dune to the streaming service, tweeting, "It's time we took you for a spin around planet Arrakis in quest of some spice." The film was released in India on October 22 with a U/A classification and has subsequently received ten Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Original Score, and Best Visual Effects.

The streaming service will premiere Oscar-nominated film Dune on 25 March in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. As per reports the premiere time of Dune would be around 12:00 Midnight. However, an official declaration has not come yet.
