Haryana State Chief Minister has started inter-state special bus services on selected routes. Haryana Roadways buses will ply only in Haryana but the special bus service will not be started in areas severely affected with COVID19, said Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday. Haryana CM announced to start this facility on Wednesday and said to facilitate the services to people stranded within the state due to lockdown, an official added. From May 15, Haryana Transport Department has decided to facilitate this inter-state service and booking of tickets will be done through Online hartrans.gov.in.
As per reports, Haryana Roadways buses ticket booking could only be done through portal hartrans.gov.in. For this, the passengers need to get an online ticket, said an official. Only 30 passengers will be on board of bus maintaining the social distancing norms, said Govt official. According to officials 6 Buses are scheduled to start from Ambala, 1 each from Bhivani, Sirsa, Rohtak and Hisar respectively, 9 buses to run from Panchkula, 3 buses from Narnaul, 2 from Karnal, 2 from Kaithal and 3 from Rewari.
Tickets Online Booking at hartrans.gov.in
The ticket facility for inter-state buses in Haryana will only be provided through hartrans.gov.in. Passengers need to book tickets in advance at official Transport Department website. In case if the bus movement is not possible on any route due to any reason, the bus will be cancelled and passengers will be informed two hours before the scheduled time of departure. The fare will be refunded accordingly.
Precautionary Measures to be taken-
The buses will operate from the Haryana state transport bus stands to the scheduled bus stands. No passengers will be allowed to board or disembark the bus within the journey. It is also decided that buses passing through Covid-affected districts will pass through a bypass or flyovers.
