While Narak Chaturdashi, also known as Choti Diwali, is celebrated a day before the main Diwali but Choti Diwali 2020 will be celebrated on the same day that is November 14. People arrange everything on Choti Diwali for Diwali and most importantly the Abhyanga Snan which is also known as the Diwali Bathing ritual considers to purify the soul.

Time of Abhyanga Snan will begin from 5:23 am to 6:43 am.

Govardhan Puja is celebrated on the next day of Diwali and Govardhan falls on November 15. On this day, Lord Krishna defeated Lord Indra by lifting the Govardhan Mountain on his little finger and broke the ego of Lord Indra. Devotees prepare and offer a large variety of vegetarian food to Bhagwan Shri Krishna as a mark of gratitude. 

The auspicious time of Govardhan Puja is from 3:45 pm to 6:00 pm.

Bhai Dooj Date and Muhurat

Bhai Dooj is the festival of brother and sister and symbolises for the long life of a brother. This festival is quite similar to Raksha Bandhan. Bhai Dooj is been celebrated on the next day of Govardhan Puja i.e November 16. 

The favourable time begins from 1:31 pm to 3.45 pm.
