Organizing the Uttar Pradesh PCS Main 2019 examination on Sept 26, UPPSC Commission has started aggregating towards the declaration of the result. UPPSC on Sept 25, (Saturday) concludes the PCS 2019 Main examination with Objective Type paper. Commission conducted the PCS Mains 2019 from Sept 22-26 in two shifts with Hindi Essay Writing and General Studies papers. A total 6119 Prelims qualified candidates registered for the PCS Mains 2019 and among them 4732 (77.32 per cent) appeared for the Examination. The PCS Mains 2019 paper was a bit tough than of the last year's, a student appeared in the UPPSC PCS Mains 2019 said.
After scrutiny of the Answer sheets of UP PCS Mains examination 2019, Commission to shortlist candidates for the Interviews. To shortlist the candidates for the Interviews, a strict checking of Answer sheets, is expected and might cause delay in the declaration of Result. However, it is also expected that UPPSC may declare PCS 2019 main result by November, as Mains examination of 2020 is scheduled in the month of January 2021.
UP PCS main 2019 examination has been conducted at 15 exam centres in Gaziabad, Lucknow and Prayagraj districts. On Sept 22, the examination was consisted of General Hindi and Essay writing, which was followed by General Studies Paper 1, 2, 3 & 4 on Sept 23 & 24. The GS examination was conducted with several changes, specially pulling back the Defence Studies, Sociology, Farsi and Arabic language papers from the Optional subject, a report published in Hindi Daily says.
Amid all tussles, delay in the declaration of result due to Covid-19, is also hinted by the officials, however, no intimation has been officialy made on the PCS result date / Interview dates. Midst of it students who have appeared for the examination are looking for early declaration of the PCS Mains result, as several months' delay has already been caused by the pandemic. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is responsible to declare the U.P PCS 2019 Mains result at web site uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates in regard to the same announcement to be intimated through registered email and official web site.
According the provisions, Commission to shortlist candidates in two per cent for the Interviews. Candidates on the basis of performances in the PCS Main 2019 examination to be shortlisted for the Interviews. Earlier Commission used to call candidates in ration of three per cent for the interview, which now has been reduced to two per cent. As there are 6119 candidates have registered for the UPPSC Mains against the 483 number of posts, a two per cent of the same 950 candidates to be called for the UPPSC PCS 2019 Interviews.
