Uttar Pradesh Pubic Service Commission or UPPSC on Thursday declared the results of PCS 2019 Mains examination. Commission shortlists 811 candidates for the Interview, against the 388 vacancies under the UPPSC PCS 2019 examination. Candidates who appear for the PCS 2019 Mains examination can check result/ list/ of candidates qualify for the Interviews at website uppsc.up.nic.in.
Concluding the evaluation of UP PCS Main 2019 examination, UPPSC Commission on December 24 (Wednesday) declared the PCS Mains 2019 result. After scrutiny of the Answer sheets of UP PCS Mains examination 2019, Commission shortlist 811 candidates for the Interviews.
The UPPSC organized the PCS Mains written exam from 22 to 26 September in two shifts with Hindi Essay Writing and General Studies papers. A total 6119 candidates qualfied to appear for the PCS Mains 2019, among them 4732 (77.32 per cent) appeared for the Sept 2019 held examination. Following the row, Commission displayed the PCS 2019 Answer Key & Paper Analysis at official site.
UP PCS main 2019 examination was held at 15 exam centres in Gaziabad, Lucknow and Prayagraj districts. On Sept 22, the examination was consisted of General Hindi and Essay writing, which was followed by General Studies Paper 1, 2, 3 & 4 on Sept 23 & 24. The GS examination was conducted with several changes, specially pulling-back the subjects including Defence Studies, Sociology, Farsi and Arabic language papers from the Optional subject, a report published in Hindi Daily says. The Result of those female candidates who are from out of U.P. shall be subject to final order and Judgement of Hon’ble High Court in special Appeal No. 475 of 2019, result notice reads.

Interview Dates: According the provisions, Commission has shortlisted candidates in two per cent for the Interviews. Candidates on the basis of performances in the PCS Main 2019 examination are shortlisted for the Interviews, to be held likely in Jan-Feb 2021.
