DGE TN Board Class 12th Result 2020: The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu has announced TN Board Class 12 result 2020 today. After finishing evaluation of TN Board Higher Secondary Examinations (HSE +2) March 2020, Board declared Class 12 (HSE +2) result 2020 at website on Thursday. Students can check from tnresults.nic.in availability of TN HSE result 2020 using examination roll no. Holding a press conference, Tamil Nadu state Education Minister along with TN Board Chairman announced result on July 16, 2020.
According to an official from the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, Class 12th result 2020 declared at 9 AM at official website of dge.tn.gov.in / tnresults.nic.in students can check the availability of HSE +2 results.
Tamil Nadu Board is expected to declare +2 results 2020 today. Directorate of Government Examinations is expected to announce Class 12 (Science, Arts & Commerce) and Class 12 (Vocational) results on July 6, 2020. Based on press report published in Hindi daily, the state Education Minister K.A Sengottaiyan has said that TN Board Class 12 answer sheet evaluation has been completed and result of Tamil Nadu 12th exams 2020 shall be released in the first week of July.

How to check TN HSE (+2) March 2020 Exam Results
Here are the instructions to check the Tamil Nadu Board Class 12th result 2020-
Step 1: Visit the DGE TN Board website/ dge.tn.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the Tamil Nadu HSE +2 result 2020 link.
Step 3: Enter the required credentials i.e Class 12th March Exams roll number & security code.
Step 4: Click on the “View Result” button
Step 5: In a new window +2 result 2020 / marksheet will be displayed
Step 6: Download & don’t forget to take a print out.

Passing Marks- Candidates securing 35 marks (pass marks) each in all the six subjects out of 100 (even compartmentally) are eligible for award of Higher Secondary First Year / Second Year Certificates.
Pass Percentage & Toppers List of Last Year
Based on statistics provided by Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu last year in Class 12th results a total 91.30% students passed. Last year the examinations result was declared on April 19, 2019. Girls passing percentage was reported higher than boys and in Toppers’ list also girls outshined the boys.
Issue of Answer Copies:
Issue of Scan copy of Answer Scripts for Higher Secondary Examination- With a view to bring transparency in the evaluation system, scan copies of Higher Secondary Examination answer scripts are issued to the candidates for all subjects. Candidates who seek scan copies of their answer scripts should apply through school / exam centres in the Directorate’s official website. The fee has to be remitted in cash to the school / Examination centre. The candidate should receive the acknowledgement slip, once they register for scan copy. Approximately it takes 15 days for processing the scan copy application and to upload the scan copies of answer scripts in the Directorate’s official website.
Provisional Certificate: A New System of issuing temporary mark certificates (Provisional Certificate) was introduced from the year 2015.The certificate will be valid only for a period of 90 days. Candidates can check the accuracy of the marks and their detail and in case of any discrepancy, it can be rectified in the original mark certificate.
TN Board Class 12 Revaluation & Retotalling (RV/ RT)-
In addition to issue of scan copies of answer scripts, revaluation is also permitted for all subjects in Higher Secondary Examination. The scripts are revalued by three-member committee of subject experts. Any increase or decrease in marks on revaluation is effected in both ways. Processing of the RV / RT application takes approximately 10 to 15 days. Fee for revaluation of each subject (Rs.5/- Service Charges)- Rs.505/- (per Answer Script). Candidates are permitted to apply for re-totalling in all subjects within the dates prescribed by this Department after the publication of results. There shall be Re-totaling (RT) application charges, as defined by the DGE TN Board.
