Hearing petitions on NEET 2020 exam for Covid-19 infected students, Supreme Court on Monday, October 12 allows such students to appear in NEET exam on October 14, followed by results on 16 October. According to News Agency ANI, Supreme Court in its order delivers the verdict in favour of students and provide another chance to appear in NEET to those stuents who could not appear due to COVID-19 infection or because of residing in containment zones. The rulling also brought-up the NEET 2020 result date as October 16.
ANI quoting the verdict delivered by Supreme Court says "Supreme Court allows NEET exam to be conducted on October 14 for students who could not appear for it due to COVID-19 infection or because of residing in containment zones; results on October 16". NEET on 14 October- It should be noted that the another chance to appear in the NEET 14 October exam, to be provided only to those students who could not appear for it due to Coronavirus infection or because falling in containment zones.
