JEE Advance Result 2019: Maharashtra Kartikey Gupta tops among boys & Shabnam Sahay among girls

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will on Friday, June 14 declare the JEE (Advanced) 2019 result. The JEE Advanced Result 2019 will be declared around 10 am. The JEE Advance 2019 was held on May 27 this year. The date of the exam had to be postponed from May 19 due to the Lok Sabha polls.

Qualifying in JEE Advanced (2019), filling up choices and/or participating in the joint seat allocation process does not guarantee admission in IITs. Admission depends on the availability of seats during seat allocation.
Shabnam Sahay from Madhapur has topped among female candidates. She has scored a total of 308 marks out of 372.
Kartikey Chandresh Gupta from Maharashtra has topped the JEE Advanced 2019 examination this year. He has obtained 346 out of 372 marks.


This year, more than 1.73 lakh candidates have registered for the JEE Advanced 2019 entrance exam. The seat allotment round is scheduled to be conducted online from June 19 to July 17.


 Steps to check JEE Advanced Result 2019:
Step 1- Visit the official website https://jeeadv.ac.in/ or click on the direct link

Step 2- Search for link saying download JEE Result 2019
Step 3- Click on it and enter the required details
Step 4- The JEE Advanced Result 2019 will be displayed on the screen
Step 5- Download and take a printout of JEE Result 2019 or IIT JEE advanced 2019 Result for future reference


  The rank scored by candidates in JEE Advanced Result 2019 or JEE Result 2019 is taken by all 23 participating IITs for taking admission in the four years undergraduate courses. Further, candidates can also apply for admission in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc), Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and six Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER).
