IIT JAM 2021 Result to be declared tomorrow, here is how to check

IISc Bangalore will be announcing the IIT JAM 2021 results on Saturday, 20th March. Candidates who appeared for the Joint Admission Test for Masters held on 14 February shall check their rank, merit list online at jam.iisc.ac.in.

According to the schedule, IISc Bangalore will declare the IIT JAM 2021 result tomorrow, on March 20. Once the result get announced, candidates who have appeared for the IISc Bangalore organized JAM 2021 can check his/her result, AIR rank and Merit list.

For each test paper in JAM 2021, an All India Rank (AIR) will be assigned to all the appeared candidates based on their performance in the test paper.

The tie-breaking criterion for awarding the ranks to candidates scoring the same aggregate marks in a test paper will be as follows:- Scores in the NAT section followed by the scores in the MSQ section will be used to break the tie. The candidate with a higher ratio of positive marks to negative marks will be given a higher rank. Final tie-breaker will be the Date-of-birth of the candidates. If this criterion fails to break ties, the concerned candidates will be awarded the same rank.

IIT JAM 2021 Merit list: The results (merit lists of IISC JAM 2021 will be declared on March 20, (Saturday). The results will be available on the website https://jam.iisc.ac.in/p/rank-and-merit-list-1.

How to check JAM 2021 result, once it gets announced

Visit the website of IISc Bangalore organized Joint Admission Test for Masters

At homepage you will see a link that reads' JAM 2021 - Result/Score Card'

Click on the link, you will be redirected to a new window

Then enter your Enrolment Number, Date of Birth and image shown in the section

Click on 'Submit' Result Card will be in front of you, save that.

For each test paper, a Merit list will be prepared based on the All India Rank (AIR) of JAM. The number of candidates included in the Merit List will depend on the total number of seats available in each category (OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD) in a given subject.

Qualified candidates will be eligible to apply for admission to any of the corresponding academic programs available at IITs and the IISc.
