The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to announce Class 10th result and also denies the viral claims on result dates. CBSE Board in its latest statement has refuted the claims on Secondary & Sr Secondary examinations 2020 result dates. Amid all these denials from the CBSE Board, on one hand sources claim Class 10 & 12 board results before July 15 and on other hand students are taking over the CBSE website in search of latest updates on results.
As CBSE has decided to go with newly formed Assessment scheme for announcing Class 10th & 12th results, Students are more concerned over the marks, formation of score cards and continuously looking for an intimation from CBSE on result dates. 1) CBSE Class 10th & 12th Result latest update:
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified that Board is yet to finalize the result dates for Secondary (Class X) & Senior Secondary (Class XII) exams. CBSE board results are expected by July 15, 2020 at cbse.nic.in.
2) CBSE refutes claim over Exam result dates as 11 & 13 July:
CBSE board Secretary has denied the fake claims on results dates for Class 10th as 11 July and for Class 12th as 13 July 2020. A message was circulated on social media which claimed the CBSE Board result dates. Board found the letter was fake and denied over the result dates claimed.
3) CBSE Result Expected Dates:
Central Board is yet to propose result dates for Secondary & Sr Secondary examinations. Students are advised to keep in contact with official Board website cbse.nic.in for results. As more than 20 lakh students are waiting for the CBSE board results, Board is yet to decide dates for result. However, sources have hinted possible results before 15 July 2020. It is also expected that result may delay beyond 15 July, as official dates are yet to be finalized.
CBSE Result on Assessment Scheme:
Board has formulated a detailed structure on Class 10 & 12 assessment of marks. Here is CBSE Board assessment pattern and scheme for results 2020-
(a) For the students of both Class 10 & Class 12, who have completed all their examinations, their results will be declared based on their performance in the examinations.
(b) For students who have appeared in the examinations in more than three subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best three performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.
(c) For students who have appeared in the examinations in only 3 subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best two performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted
(d) There are very few students of Class XII, mainly from Delhi, who have appeared in the examinations in only one or two subjects. Their results will be declared based on performance in the appeared subjects and performance in internal/ practical/ project assessment. These students will also be allowed to appear in the optional examinations conducted by CBSE to improve their performance if they desire to do so. Board Examinations results of these students will also be declared along with other students.

5) Cuases behind delay in CBSE results:
In the month of March 2020, CBSE releasing exam date sheets for Secondary & Sr Secondary examinations planned to organize the Class 10 and 12 board examinations in the month of March 2020. Amid the exams the schedule was hit by Delhi violence and followed by Covid19 and lockdown restrictions. Reviewing the situations HRD Ministry and CBSE board decided to hold exams from July 1st to July 15, later cancelled. The mentioned causes have delayed the results of CBSE board exams.
