Announcing the Class 12 results 2020 on Monday, CBSE decides not to release Merit list for Class 12th examinations. After the denial it is expected that Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may not invite revaluation applications this season. Citing the delay in announcing board examinations result and opting new Assessment scheme this season, may lead to refusal to Merit list and Revaluation, Rechecking, sources said.  

On Monday July 13, 2020 CBSE board declared results for Senior Secondary School Certificate examinations held in March 2020. The result is declared on the basis of new assessment scheme, opted after cancelation of remaining examinations. The result declared after a delay of nearly 2 months.

CBSE board announced the result on the basis of Assessment scheme, formed after cancelation of pending exams in last week of June. “CBSE is not announcing the Merit list this time”, CBSE Board official said on Monday. Results of 400 students are also on hold, as board states that answer books are yet to be computed. In declared CBSE Class 12 results, an overall pass percentage recorded as 88.78%.

No Merit list:

Announcing the Class 12 result on July 13, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) denies the publication of merit list for examinations year 2020. Board makes official statement in regarding holding of Merit list. It is also mentioned that results of nearly 400 students are kept on hold, as computing had not been done.

No Revaluation / Rechecking:

According to sources CBSE board may not invite applications for the revaluation, rechecking, re-totalling and answer book photocopies this time. As board has decided not to publish Merit list for results 2020-21, sources hint that due to opting Assessment Scheme, CBSE may refuse to facilitate revaluation & rechecking facilities to students. However, official statement on this has not made yet.
