CBSE Class 12 Assessment Based Result before 15 July, Board Officials

The Central Board of Secondary Education's decision in Supreme Court to cancel the CBSE Class 10th & 12th remaining board exams and will to conduct Class 12th exams after situation comes conducive. With this decision of CBSE several students are left with questions over Class 12th exams, result and marksheet preparation. CBSE has brought up four formulas for CBSE Class 12th students. According to statement made by Soliciter General on behalf of CBSE Board in Supreme Court students of Class 12th will have the option to appear for Class 12th remaining board exams. In case students opt for remaining exams, the examinations will be conducted by Board after the situation becomes more conducive. Alongside of this CBSE said that Result of students not going for remaining examinations, will be prepared on the basis of Internal practical assessment and other subjects average marks.

Board on Thursday said that assessment based result of CBSE Class 12th will be announced before 15 July 2020. Students appeared in Class 12th examinations and attended all papers, the result will be prepared normally, CBSE Board clarified in SC on Thursday. Result of those students whose Higher Secondary (Class XII) examinations left, will be prepared on roadmap laid down by CBSE adopting four formulas.

Four Formulas for preparation of CBSE Class 12 Result 2020-

Formula No 1- For students whose all CBSE Class XII Board Examinations 2020 all paper covered, Result will be declared normally.

Formula No 2- Students whose three or more than three papers held, assessment will be based on Best Three. For remaining papers the average of Best Three (adding marks of best 3 papers and dividing the number by 3), will be assessed.

Formula No 3- Those students who only sat for 3 Examinations, the assessment will be done on Best Two subjects marks. For remaining papers the best two papers marks will be added and number will be devided by 2.

Formula No 4- Those students who only answered one or two papers of CBSE Class 12, result of such students will be based on performance in these subjects and Internal practical assessment marks will be prepared. Among these students the numbers are very less and mostly students are from Delhi, Board said.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2020 Date-

As per CBSE statement, the Central Board shall declare Class 12th Result 2020 on Assessment base by July 15, 2020. However, the board has not clarified the examination dates for Class 12th, as students are provided options to go for assessment based result or to take remaining Board exams.
