Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of Class 12th on the official website cbse.nic.in. The result is declared online on official and associated websites like cbseresults.nic.in, indiaresults.nic.in, and digilocker.gov.in.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday, July 30 announced the results of class 12th or Higher Secondary School Examinations 2021. The results have been declared online on the official website cbse.nic.in and are also available at Digilocker and Umang apps. In addition to this, the results are also accessible through the associated websites like cbseresults.nic.in and indiaresults.nic.in. Out of total 1,304,561 students 1,29,6318 students have been declared pass.

According to the CBSE statistics, 99.67% Girls have passed the CBSE Class 12th exams. Whereas, the pass percentage of Boys is 99.13%. The pass percentage in Delhi is recorded 99.84%.

The results are prepared on the basis of internal assessment formulated on the basis of class 10th and 11th marks. According to the formula, a weightage of 30:30:40 will be given to classes 10th, 11th, and 12th (internal/unit-test/ practicals) respectively.

Earlier, this year, the Class 12 board theory exams were canceled by the state government owing to the COVID-19 situation. This was for the first time when the board couldn't hold the exam for even a single paper. Last year, even the classes were held in online mode.

After the cancellation of exams, students were not issued exam hall tickets and hence, had no clue about their roll numbers. Keeping this in mind, the central board has facilitated Roll Number Finder (RNF) service to the students. Students using the Roll number finder should access their roll numbers first and then check the results.

CBSE Class 12th Result 2021: Check Through Website cbseresults.nic.in

  1. Visit the website, cbseresults.nic.in
  2. Click on the link 'Sr Secondary Result 2021' from the homepage.
  3. Doing so, in a new window result page will open. 
  4. Then, students have to enter their roll number and date of birth in the required columns.
  5. Upon entering details, results will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Download and take a printout of the Class 12th results for further use.

Note: Students need to carefully check and ensure that all personal details given in the mark sheet are correct. In case any discrepancy is found, they have to reach out to the board/school immediately.

Apart from the website cbseresults.nic.in, Class 12th students can also check their results on alternate websites like results.gov.in, cbse.gov.in, and cbse.digitallocker.gov.in. Students can use check the same using Umang and Digilocker apps.

CBSE Class 12th Result through 'Digilocker App':

Here are the steps to download the CBSE 12th class results 2021 from the Digilocker app, students have to follow below simple steps:

  1. Open the Digilocker app on your smartphone.
  2. In case you do not have one, visit the Google Playstore and type “Digilocker” in the search bar.
  3. By doing so, there will Digilocker app will appear.
  4. Download the Digilocker application and then click on Install.
  5. Upon successful installation, access the application.
  6. After that, students have to enter their name and date of birth (DoB) as per their Aadhar Card. 
  7. Later, students have to enter their gender, mobile number, email address, Aadhar Number, and security pin.
  8. Upon entering all these details, students can check their CBSE 12th scorecard.

Students can also check their results using the Umang application on their smartphones. Upon downloading this application, students have to search and select “CBSE”. Upon entering their credentials, candidates can check the marksheet.
