All Class 10th Andhra Pradesh students are declared passed and promoted as state govt cancels exam due to COVID-19 pandemic. According to a report published, the Andhra Pradesh Government has issued orders permitting Director of Government Examinations Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP), to pass students, without assigning grade points. Following the order, now it is confirmed that Andhra Pradesh Class 10 students will be passed and promoted to the Class XI. AP govt took a "one-time measure" to promote all class 10 or SSC students to the next class due to the pandemic, a source said on Wednesday.
The decision taken by Andhra Pradesh Government is one-time in measure and is taken after reviewing the current situation over COVID-19 pandemic. According to News Minute the ruling YSRCP led Andhra Pradesh state govt took the decision on Monday and released a formal order on Tuesday. The decision will benefit a total 6.3 lakh students who are going to be passed and promoted.
A report published in English daily said that the Andhra Pradesh state government has taken the decision to cancel the SSC Examinations 2020. The decision is taken after reviewing the pros and cons of conducting the Andhra SSC exams 2020. Initially AP state government had decided to conduct the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) board examinations between July 10 to 17. Govt also decided to change the pattern of the question paper. However, due to the hike in coronavirus cases across the country, the state government decided to scrap its plans & cancelled the AP SSC exams.

Marksheet without Grade Marks:
Passing and promoting the SSC students, Andhra Pradesh Government has directed BSEAP, to declare the result without assigning Grade marks in students marksheet. Students are promoted to Class 11th, as Class 10th examinations are scrapped. After the announcement of passing SSC students without holding exams, BSEAP to promote nearly 6.3 lakh students to next standards.
