Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada has decided to declare the AP EAMCET result 2020 on October 9. The information has been shared by the Andhra Pradesh State Education Minister Audimulapu Suresh.
AP EAMCET (Engineering/ Agriculture) results will be declared at web site sche.ap.gov.in on Oct 9. EAMCET result along with the Merit list/ rank list to be displayed in a manner to help candidates with ease to check their results using Roll Numbers. Earlier, the AP EAMCET results was proposed on 7 October which has been postponed to Friday, 9 October, a report published in NDTV says. Candidates can check the availability of AP EAMCET results for Engineering/ Agriculture from sche.ap.gov.in.
JNTU on behalf of APSCHE conducted the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). AP EAMCET Entrance test held in online (Computer Based Examination) for a duration of 3 hour and the question paper consisted of total 160 questions comprising of 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 questions in Physics and 40 questions in Chemistry. AP EAMCET Engineering exam on 17.09.2020, 18.09.2020, 21.09.2020, 22.09.2020 & 23.09.2020 whereas, EAMCET Agriculture exam held on 23.09.2020, 24.09.2020 & 25.09.2020.
Above 2,50,000 candidates appeared for EAMCET 2020 with majority in Engineering. Successive to holding Online EAMCET exam, JNTU released the Answer key on 26 September 2020. An opportunity to candidates provided for raising the challenges against the Preliminary Answer key. Following the schedule, JNTU has revised the EAMCET result date to 9 October, 2020. On behalf of the final answer key, JNTU Kakinada has prepared AP EAMCET results.

Preparation of AP EAMCET Merit / Ranking:
The candidates who secure qualifying marks in AP EAMCET-2020 and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in AP EAMCET-2020 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination. For the preparation of merit list, in case of more than one student securing the same combined score obtained as mentioned above, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following i) The total marks secured in AP EAMCET-2020 ii) The Marks secured in Mathematics in AP EAMCET-2020 iii) The marks secured in Physics in AP EAMCET-2020 iv) The Percentage of Aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination.
Counselling and Allotment of Seats:
The list of institutions for allotment of candidates with intake in each discipline and category, as per reservations through AP EAMCET- 2020 would be released in the Information Booklet for Counseling in due course and the same information would also be released on website www.sche.ap.gov.in.
