Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has scheduled to conduct the Employees Provident Fund Organization Examination on 9th May 2021 while a section of students demands that the EPFO exam be postponed. Launching a social media campaign, thousands of applicants who have applied for EPFO EO AO recruitment 2021 aspirants lodged a protest on micro blogging site Twitter.
Amid spike in COVID-19 cases all across the country, the demand has been rising among the students who are appearing for UPSC scheduled EPFO Recruitment examination 2020. Several exams have already been postponed by the concerned agencies and governments including of CBSE & other state board exams 2021.

Another student named Priya Bhardwaj in her tweet said, "UPSC EPFO exams are scheduled to be held on 9th may 2021 My exam centre is 330 km away which means I have to take public trasport and give exam but considering current situation nd surge in covid cases not only im worried about my health but also risking my grandparents life", another student told examination".

UPSC on other hand has released the UPSC EPFO admit card 2021 for the exam scheduled on May 9, 2021, on its website i.e. upsc.gov.in. The exam will be held for the selection of Enforcement Officer (EO) and Accounts Officer (AO) in Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
