Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is providing air-fare to students appearing in Civil Service Exam 2019 Interviews scheduled in July 2020. Through a press release, UPSC notifies that students appearing in Interviews between 20 and 30 July 2020 are being provided fare of air-travel as train services are completely suspended across the country. UPSC has also requested states to issue e-pass to candidates appearing in CSE 2019 Interviews.
UPSC has scheduled the Personality Test / Interviews of remaining 623 candidates from 20-30 July 2020. UPSC Civil Services 2019 Mains examination qualified candidates are called for Interviews. “Students are already intimated over the Interview schedule”, UPSC said during questioning on holding Interviews in the month of July. The detailed CSE 2019 interview schedule is also available at official website of Commission i.e upsc.gov.in.
Commission had conducted Interviews of about 2,304 candidates in the month of March. The schedule was hit by Covid19 lockdown which resulted halt in PI/ Interviews of total 623 candidates. Later after getting ease in lockdown restricts, Commission re-scheduled Interviews of left-over candidates from 20-30 July 2020. Reviewing the current situation, Commission decided to provide air-fare to students appearing in personality test / interview in July month. The decision is taken in view of suspension of services of Indian Railways.

As per revised schedule UPSC is conducting Civil Services Examination 2019 Interviews from July 20 to July 30, 2020. The interviews are being conducted in two shifts- first shifts from 9 am and the second shift from 1 pm.
